Thanks for posting this! I didn’t start “chores” with my kids when they were 2 – but now at 5 and almost 7 – I want to make sure they are doing what they are capable of. They have always helped with the work around the house (we just don’t call it chores – that make me not want to do it!) but this gives me more ideas of what I can have them help with! Thanks! Kerry

I would love to see your current chore list. Found your blog through Connie at Smockity Frocks. We have 7 children from almost 11 years old down to 1 year old, including twins that will be 3 years on Monday. I definitely need to get more of a housework/schooling schedule in place! Thanks for all the tips on your site–I have been looking through a lot of them, and they are very helpful!

AMEN AMEN AMEN! We had a chore chart for the week, it rotated thru all the kids, everyone had a turn at every chore thruout the month. It was amazing how neater/careful they became when they cooked (what ever the chore) they had cleanup, etc. They policed each other after a while
