Thursday, I did not fall asleep on the couch at 7:30pm surrounded by 9 rambunctious children and so neglect to give the children their special surprise treat of ice cream to celebrate that Suzanne has spring break and will be gone for a whole week is finished with mid-terms.
The next morning riddled with guilt and remorse for causing the children to miss their treat, I most certainly did not give each of them a huge bowl of Moose Tracks ice cream for breakfast.
If I had fed the children ice cream for breakfast, I would not have allowed them to wash it down with a mug of hot chocolate! Excuse me? We are healthy eaters in this house.
I do not think that my children should now nominate me for best mom of the year. (Ahem, children this is a Not Me post, it means we say the opposite of what we actually say or think. Do you get it? MOM OF THE YEAR!)
Go take a look at my other “Not Me!” Monday posts and then visit MckMama’s blog to check out all the other things that people have not been doing this week.
If your interested in my opinion on home management, scheduling, chores, or large family living look through the categories just under the header picture to read more.

I’ll have to keep updated with your blogs to check out your laundry blog.
I don’t mind doing it, I just hate putting it away

Ice cream for breakfast? That’s MY idea of Mom of the Year! We do breakfast for dinner from time to time, so why not?
