This past Thursday through Saturday (well that would be last Thus.- Sat. I’m just slow posting.) we went camping with a group of families from our Mom’s group. Eight families were able to make it for a total of 50-60 people total. Here are some pictures of our time together.
Colby packing firewood to take on our trip.

One of the dad’s brought a rocket and one of his little ones got to launch it.
Savannah thought that it was loud.

It was cold, but we were prepared and waking up to a lovely sunrise was well worth it.

Hot chocolate and Bible reading around the campfire.

The whole group went on a hike and stopped to picnic and wade.

The volley ball court was flooded and so the children had fun playing in the water and sand.
A mom in our group also led a nature walk identifying different plants and herbs and telling their medicinal or food uses. The children drew sketches to add to their nature journals.
We roasted marshmallows, sang and told stories around the campfire in the evenings.
The fun did not stop when it was time to pack up. You did see how we took down the tent, right?
Did you wonder how we fit 2 adults, 9 children, food, and all of our camping gear into our 12 passenger van, affectionately referred to as “the Plum”? Very carefully.

Wow – that looks like FUN! And I can SO relate to packing a 12-passenger van with 11 people and lots of gear… “Wait! No one gets out until we unload a bit…”

What fun! Wish we had a fun group of families to camp with.
Can’t believe you don’t have a 15 passenger van. Wow! We’ve been driving a 15 passenger van since we had 6 kids (as soon as we outgrew the mini-van).

That looks like you all had a blast… Now you’re going to have to plan another trip so I can go.

It was so much fun! We had a blast! I am so glad we got to go, and look forward to doing it again sometime. Hopefully next time we will get to stay longer. I posted a few pix on Facebook you are free to snag too.
