…your regularly scheduled programing to bring you…SNOW?snow on deck

I didn’t believe it when I heard that snow was in the forecast. After all we barely get snow during the winter and the temperatures have been in the 70′s but this morning the children were delighted to wake up to a dusting of snow on our deck. Alyssa thought that we would have to cancel school for a snow day. Well, I’m nice like that in February, but somehow snow on the Dogwood blossoms does not inspire me to give the children a day off from their school work. Snow on Dogwood blossoms

Does this make you readers from the frozen north feel any better about your still frigid weather? Well don’t start gloating yet, we are supposed to be back up in the 70′s by Thursday. :P

I would say our weather has been similar…snow this am, too, but our temps have only been high 40 to mid 50. But actually, we had less snow than you this morning!

It has been semi-warm, then cold, semi-warm again; lots of rain and this morning we have a light dusting of snow. We haven’t even had warm enough weather to turn down the furnace yet. This kind of crazy weather is expected in New York, though.
