Evening Plans

Mark and I are supposed to go out to dinner this evening, but Amber (12) made such a delicious dinner for the children (homemade Stromboli and all the fixin’s) we may have to stay home to eat.

Well, we may stay home if Mark survives the all-the-kids-against-daddy pillow fight that is currently raging. I’m just wondering if we’ll have to make a trip to the ER first.

Just so you know, Amber hasn’t completely replaced me as mom. Even though she can cook dinner for the crowd, do laundry, and clean with the best of ‘em, she doesn’t know the words for the song that I sing to the babies when I rock them wrapped in only a towel after their bath.

Wow, I’m looking forward to a ‘mom replacement’, at least for occasional dinner prep!

Thank you for visiting and commenting at my blog. Yours looks lovely and I’ll check back here again.

    Blessings!

    EllaJac,
Yes having a built in babysitter is a wonderful blessing. We stay close to home and usually put the little ones in bed, but still it is light years from having 5 children 5 and younger!

    Roan,
Yes we made it out and had a wonderful dinner and conversation. I feel so spoiled!
