Giggles from the Grove: Death and Heaven

This entry is part 1 of 3 in the series Savannah's Heaven Conversation

This morning as Savannah  (4) and I were doing chores together, she asked, “Does everybody die?”  Savannah and I proceeded to have a conversation about death, heaven, hell and Christ’s death to purchase eternal life for us. When she said that she didn’t want to die, I mentioned that her daddy and I pray that she will not die until she is a very old lady and that by that time we would already be in heaven and be waiting for her.

Savannah went downstairs to talk with Daddy.

“Daddy don’t you like living in heaven?”

“Well, I don’t live in heaven yet, but we will live there one day.”

Savannah thought about that and said, “Yes and you go first!”

Savannah had more to say on this topic, read Robes of Righteousness.

At least the follow up conversation didn’t startup along the lines of….give to me the portion of the goods that falleth to me….
