Robes of Righteousness

Savannah (4) has been thinking about our conversation about death and heaven because I just got this question, “Mommy will we take our clothes to heaven when we die?”

I replied that we wouldn’t need our clothes because God will clothe us in robes of righteousness.

Savannah jumped up and down, “Yeah, robes of righteousness! Robes of righteousness!”

I think,  “Happy that Jesus died for her sins and clothes us in His righteousness, that’s good.”

Savannah continues, “Sadie, Sadie, God will give us robes of righteousness. I glad ’cause I wouldn’t want to be na.ked in heaven!”

Such a cute story! I think some of the things children say about Jesus really are the most wonderful! And doesn’t the Kingdom belong to such as these!

Thank you so much for commenting on my blog. I am definitely inspired by Feelin’ Feminine’s challenge. Otherwise I’m not sure I would have thought to do such a thing.

What a beautiful family you have–and 9 children! Wow, I admire you! I look forward to getting to know you.

    Blessings beloved~

I have gotten a hearty laugh at Savannah’s comments! There is a lot of learning and growing in grace going on in these little minds.

    I love this!

I had a son answer someone at church who asked him “where did you get those big brown eyes?” Without hesitation he quipped back “God put me together!”

    Kids say the cutest things!
