I haven't used shampoo in my long, fine hair for over a year now. I use baking soda, around a teaspoon made into a paste with a little bit of water. I get my hair wet and then massage the paste into my scalp especially around the hairline and areas that tend to be oily, I leave it on there while I soap up my body, and then rinse it out. I keep a pump bottle of vinegar with a few drops of rosemary oil in it and add a few table spoons to a cup of warm water. First I put the ends of my hair in the cup, then I pour the cup over my scalp and leave it in while I shave my legs and then rinse.
I do like to use a good leave in conditioner on the ends of my hair.
My hair is much nicer now, it has more body, and does not get oily so fast, and it seems to be growing faster.

I think our best was Burlington Coat Factory. My oldest was about 2 and I was 7 mos along with my second. (we had went to get a coat that would keep me AND my big belly warm.) I looked over and said Danny where did you get chocolate?! (Checking my purse that was next to him.) Only to discover in horror that it was NOT chocolate that he was so playfully smearing all over the buggie (and himself), but the over flowing content of his well filled diaper. Needless to say he had a bath in the ladies room (oh yes I stripped him down to his nakies in the store restroom and had to bathe him in the sink), hubby cleaned the cart with wet wipes, and we had to purchase him a new outfit. (((Giggles))) I actually miss those days...

wow... cooked egg! I can totally relate to the wetting the pants stories. I should start "collecting" locations where my kids have had accidents. My favorite though is when my son had an accident in the church nursery only to discover he was commando. The problem was, I knew he was commando and just forgot to fix it!!

I love Not Me Mondays... glad you still posted it. Sorry about the egg in the hair, though! Dare I ask how (or if) you got it all out??? Your kids are adorable. I love all the pictures of and stories about your children. Great fun, I must say. Every day is an adventure, right?

I would have described the water as tepid, not warm and certainly not hot, however...I didn't realize how cool the water should have been.

HAHAHA!!! I love it! Bless those beautiful babies!! All of them!

On the whole egg thing. I whipped mine together with a little conditioner, and used warm water, instead of hot water. It seemed to help the matter a good bit. I also dyed it a light golden brown yesterday, and will get that pic to you soon via facebook. I have officially completed week 2 though, and am still shampoo free. Yeaa!! Mine is finally starting to slowly adjust a bit.
