I have been trying to keep serving God on the forefront of my mind as I go about my day. It is so easy to get caught up in "doing the next thing", that we lose sight of the big picture. Just yesterday I made a list of qualities listed in the "Beatitudes"--humble, merciful, pure in heart, peacemaker, meek, hunger and thirst for righteousness....and put the hot pink index card in plain sight (on my computer desk). I am trying to keep my mind on things above, and praying without ceasing in the normal days of life will help me keep my focus. The verse that I am trying to focus on the most is "hunger and thirst for righteousness". That pretty much sums it up, doesn't it? Have a super day! Thanks for the reminder.
