I admit it.  I’m a slacker.  I have procrastinated, BUT I’m catching up right now.  Does that count for anything or have I been forever blacklisted as a non-participant?

I’m supposed to post 5 things that I’m passionate about besides blogging and then pass the award on to 5 other passionate bloggers and tell why I chose them.

5 things I’m passionate about:

1. God’s Word
2. My husband and children
3. Accepting God’s blessings
4. Homeschooling
5. Cleaning/organizing, although you may not be able to tell if you come over.  Sometimes those other passions impede progress.

8’s Great Meme!

8 Things that I look forward to:

1. Having another baby, Lord willing.  I love feeling a baby kick inside me.  I love that newborn smell, look, feel.  I love watching them grow and change.  I love the snuggable 2’s and the more independant 3’s.  The sweet and helpful 6’s and the more mature 12 year old.  I love every stage!
2. Seeing my children’s children.  Maybe even spoiling them too.
3. Meeting my children’s spouses.
4. Having more time alone with Mark to just enjoy being best friends.
5. Having more time to help younger moms.
6. Gaining wisdom.
7. All nations bowing to Jesus our King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
8. Buying furniture. Hmm, this should go under the things that I wish I could do.

8 Things I did yesterday:  (You;ve got to be kidding,  I’m expected to remember 8 things from yesterday?)

1. Prayed and read my Bible.  (That’s easy, I do that everyday.)
2. Ate ice cream.  I know, bad, it was right before bed too.
3. Read books to the kiddos.
4. Fixed dinner.
5. Vacuumed and swept.  (That’s another easy one, I also do that everyday.  I love to clean floors, remember the whole vacuum conversation?)
6. Talked to an adoption agency.
7. Finished helping paint the kids bedrooms.  (I can’t remember if that was yesterday or not) Nope, that was Wednesday. I remember now, I went to a mom’s group in Loudon and enjoyed meeting and enjoying some fellowship with new friends.  They children also brought half a dozen frogs home and have turned our garage into a rain forest habitat for their cold blooded friends.
8. Blogged about our new Greek books.

8 Things that I wish I could do:

1. Have more time to draw.
2. Have more time to knit.
3. Have more time to read.
4. Travel to Greece and Italy with the kids!
5. Take the children out west, where I grew up.  Yosemite, the Pacific Ocean, Grand Canyon, and those flat western lands where the sky streches from horizon to horizon.  I still miss the sky!
6. Honestly, can’t think of anything else.  I have a wonderful life.

8 Shows I Watch:

1. Well, we don’t watch TV much so I just have one that we used to watch.  Law and Order.

I do realize that 5 is not 8, but we have 13 children for the weekend and are taking everyone fishing tomorrow, so I’m going to run have fun with the kids.
