Yes, the roach really made me feel ill. I suppose it is my fault. I let him read the Entomology We-eBook that I blogged about today. They kept a BLACK WIDOW spider in their home and it laid eggs and they watched the whole process. He was very inspired and is completely into bugs just now.

Dawn,
I'm sorry I didn't catch this sooner. Please feel free to enter any of my giveaway (unless I post otherwise). I don't mind in the least. I'm glad that you like the Vision Forum video.

Blessings,
Kimberly

Eeewww...I can imagine. My kids froze a roach to see if it would come back to life after thawed. It didn't. Thankfully.

We've been through the potty training stage enough times that you would think we'd be well prepared, but I have often forgotten that needed change of clothes. Years ago, however, we found a great solution to our "just-passed-the-rest-stop-and-someone-needs-to-pee-NOW" problem. We have a potty seat stored under one of our van seats. We simply place the insert inside a plastic grocery bag until we are home where we can empty it and clean it. It has saved us from a great number of accidents, I'm sure.

Kimberly,
I almost hyperventalated in efforts to keep from cackling so hard I'd wake "Timeshare baby", who is resting in my arms peacefully. I so love your crazy crew. You guys r so awesome lol.
Smoking dishwashers and pet roaches. Sigh reminds me of my own house. lol You might want to check my notes section on facebook when u get a second.

Lisa,
Hate to break it to you but....The lifespan of roaches varies between species, some living up to two years. They are my biggest fear. (critter wize) Just make sure their "home" is glass and metal. (mason jars work well.) They will eat through plastic. (yes seriously) Blessings!!!

I too recently found two roaches living in a container in my 16 year old daughters room. I guess they have been up there for a while and I never noticed them. She has been keeping them fed and cared for and assures me they are both male "madagascar roaches".
Uhh, I guess they must be 'cause there are still only two of them, Whew. We decided they would freak Dad out too much, so they will just live out their lives quietly under the radar. Anybody know how long these things live? Oh! and they are NEVER to come out of their cage!!!

I try to let my boys be boys but draw the line at insects and snakes. Yuck! What a funny story.
I wanted to tell you that the picture of your children at the beach is so gorgeous. I am not going to enter the giveaway because I won the VF one. I reveived my video in the mail last week. Great stuff as always! Thanks.
