An Apron for Sadie

sadie apron backIf you’ve been watching the Review section of my left side bar you already know several of the things that we have been working on here in the Olive household.  We were blessed to receive the Sense and Sensibility pattern for the girls Edwardian apron last week. I finished this apron for Sadie this afternoon.

Jennie also sent us the eClass for the apron, so our older girls are making one for themselves and I will be telling you about their experiences with the pattern and the class as well.

The children have also been testing some fun, new toys from Pioneer Pastimes. They offer several different toys and the children have spent hours playing with them and just can’t seem to get enough.  Simple, elegantly made toys, what more could a mom or kid want?

In related news, today Alyssa (8) designed her fist web page using HTML.  That is something that I have never done before!  Alyssa is testing out Web Design for Kids and so far it has been easy for her (and me) to follow.  The other children can’t wait to try it out and Matthew is promising a web page all about Guinea Pigs.
