With six girls in the house we do a lot of hair. Confession time: I’m not that great with hair. Mine is naturally curly and I usually just put in a headband or leave it down. I usually put a bow in the girls hair and call it a day. Until today.
Today I found a blog. An amazing, wonderful creative blog about fixing your little girls hair while spending special one on one time with her. I love, love, love all of her hairstyles and tips. There are step-by-step instructions with loads of pictures and the hairstyles are so unique and so cute. I honestly think that I can do this and my girls will be so happy to have some hair variety!
Head over to Girly Do’s By Jenn and see for yourself. Me? I’m off to make my girls happy by playing with their hair!

You find the coolest things! We have 6 long-haired girls, and I have long hair, too. This is going to be FUN. Sometimes we sing, or recite memory verses while we do hair. I have to admit that most days I put mine up in a clip, or just do one braid, OR I’ll wear my sunglasses on my head all day simply because I can’t stand most headbands! The little girls, well, some days it’s good if we just get it brushed morning and night
Thanks so much for this link!

Thanks for this! We have 3 long-haired ladies in our house and always just wear it “down.”
Cardamoms Pod: I am totally guilty of the sunglasses look!

I love her blog! Another great one is The Story of A Princess and Her Hair! Thanks for stopping by yesterday
My girls have their ups and downs with letting me do their hair, but what always works for my 3 year old is playing “beauty salon” with her while I do her hair. I make chit chat and ask her questions pretending to be her stylist. I even tell her to call me Lisa, not mommy. She thinks it’s the greatest game, and I get to take my time doing her hair!

I also like Babes in Hairland.
Claire’s or Icing type stores carry the topsy tail. I have received oodles of compliments from people when I use it on my girls.

Thanks for the other sites and ideas and you’re welcome!
I fixed all 5 of the girls hair yesterday with styles from Jenn’s site and they loved it! I also learned some styles that will be keepers; quick, easy, cute and durable!
