This is Colby’s version of two thumb’s up. Yes, I think he’s cute. It’s my job and I’m thankful to have it.
You’re wondering why he reminds you of a tiger, right? It must be the washable markers that we use for face painting. 
Although I’m seriously considering buying some real face paint. Will that stuff last through multiple uses?

Colby makes an adorable tiger!
I let our children use washable markers for body paint rather than using actual face paint. I worry that the face paint may not wash out of their clothing or the furniture, or whatever else they manage to get it onto.

I checked my Super Baby Food book by Ruth Yaron and here’s what they have for Face Paint. The author warns that if you buy commercial face paint, to avoid the brands that contain ferro cyanide as an ingredient.
2 T. cornstarch and 1 T. solid white shortening OR 2 T. cornstarch, 1 T. water, 1 T. cold cream OR just use plain cold cream or baby sun screen lotion. Put into muffin tins or a clean egg carton. Tint with food coloring. (Now, in my experience, food coloring can stain – at least if it’s put directly on skin…) Add a bit of water if too thick. Use cocoa or carob powder for brown for beards and moustaches. Use honey to “glue” cotton balls to faces (you can find these in pastel colors, or tint them yourself in colored water and letting dry).
Then she has a recipe for body paint – mix non-toxic, washable, powdered tempera paint with non-irritating baby shampoo – smooth it on body. In my opinion, perhaps the washable powder could also tint the above recipe.
