Hi Marla,

Welcome to the blogging world. Your blog is very nice, I hope that you find that you continue to enjoy sharing your thoughts and ideas via your blog.

My guess is that it's not that older bloggers are uninterested in newer bloggers as much as it is that older bloggers are just busy. Many established bloggers have a lot of blog related commitments that readers never see in addition to their "real" life responsibilities of home and family.

I know that I can not possibly keep up with all of the comments and emails that I get each day AND then visit the blogs of all those who comment or participate on mine. I try to limit my computer time to a half hour each afternoon because my family and house is my priority and the more time spent on the computer means less time with my husband and kids.

I LOVE getting to know my readers and I enjoy the social aspect of blogging, but for me that socialization takes place here in the comments section or via email. :)

Hi Kimberly.I enjoy your blog.I am new to blogging. You were helpful in the beginning to give me some ideas.I would love it if you could stop by my blog.I am enjoying blogging ,but find it is hard to make some friend bloggers. Some are absolutely wonderful. Those tend to be all the newer bloggers. The older bloggers almost seem not interested in the new bloggers. Please stop by if you have time .Thank you .God bless Marla

Hello, I'm Jessica. I'm a newbie. New to your blog, new to teaching, new to the conviction to give fertility to God. I have a daughter who is a few months from turning 3, a son who is 11 months, and one in heaven between the two. I was homeschooled as a child and now am beginning with my daughter on reading skills, although she seems more interested in writing. ;) I have recently come to terms with the concept of having as many kids as God gives us. My husband is not in agreement so I'm just praying and leaving it alone with him. God will bring him around in time! I have been having trouble getting support from the local homeschoolers. They are acting like I'm damaging my daughter by teaching her reading/writing skills so young. I'm not forcing them on her, just playing games that relate to what she's interested in, but I seem to be doing swomething terrible in their minds. So I just started a message board so I can have my support group online eventually when people find it. Since apparently I did not make a good first impression with the locals. :-/
I thought maybe God was gonna give me a break after the homeschooling and fertility convictions but not so. He is working on my heart regarding wearing a headcovering lately. I'm going to admit I'm not thrilled, but I'm seeking and studying, wrestling with it until I have a firm conviction one way or another. I will say with all this I'm feeling closer to God than I have in a very long time!
Anyway, I'm sorry I wrote a book... I was just going to introduce myself! Lol! Sorry. Anyway I have enjoyed what I've read here so far and will be back! :) God bless you!

Hey gurl. Just letting you know that I have been trying to keep up with RO, but things here have been NUTS. Lil Jo broke his arm Friday, and that is just one of a string of mishaps that have happened here in the Moriarty household lately. Fortunantly only that one and a very short haircut for my beautiful (use to be)goldie locks, are the only two that directly involve the children. I am still making the laundry soap as you suggested, and even washing my clothes by hand. (ok that one is based upon us not having a washer at the moment.) I wanted you to know I have not forgotten about you, and the kids ask about your kidz often. We will get together soon. Just have to get a little dust settled from the recent windstorms. Huggs to all the babies, and big kids alike. Many blessings to you and your wonderful family. Thank you again for the many things you have taught me, and keep posting those wonderful insights. I AM still reading, every chance I get. Huggs to all!

Wow, we may be the small family if we got together with a group of readers, how fun is that. Nice to meet you all. Those closer to the beginning of the road, enjoy every moment. It keeps getting better and better!!!

Lisa, Glad you're back. I though maybe you had left for good.

Please feel free to email with questions and of course comment. I know that everyone is busy, so don't make it a burden. Just every once in a while would be nice! :)

Thanks for the introductions, it is nice to know a bit about your families. You are why I write, so if you have any ideas, suggestions or anything that you would like to hear about, please let me know.

Blessings,
Kimberly

Sorry I haven't commented in a while...Been on vacation with our 2 kids (of 7) who are still living at home. I think this may be the last time for our youngest daughter and I was soaking up every minute of it. You know I love reading your blog and love to respond. I have been teaching my grown kids how to make laundry soap so they can save money. It's been a big hit with my oldest daughter. If you feel led to pray for my 20 yr. old Seth, who was laid off on friday, I am praying for him to find another job right away. Every prayer helps! Thanks for your blog, it is a bright spot in my day.

Good Morning! I read your blog almost daily and am guilty of reading and running:) I so enjoy your posts and get inspired often! I will try to comment more...especially since I find myself thinking about what I've read during the day. I'm a SAHM of three. My oldest son has Asperger's Syndrome, he's 10 and such a blessing!! Our next son is 9 and brings in the laughs. He recently complained that he was the only one that seems to get hurt all the time(bruises, scrapes and the like). I told him NOT to complain! Those are marks of bravery and show a sign of adventure! You should have seen his chest puff up! And we have our 7 year old daughter. She definately brought the girl factor! She can get up in a tree with her brother and then join me with her apron on in the kitchen. I love watching our three together. We are also a homeschooling family. I love this adventure and I love walking it with my Lord and other Believers:) Thanks for all you do!!

Hi there! I found your blog a couple of weeks ago and have enjoyed it immensly! I'm a sahm of two little girls and love reading about homeschooling families with many children (as I hope to do/have both someday!).

Hi there! I found your blog a couple of weeks ago and have enjoyed it immensly! I’m a sahm of two little girls and love reading about homeschooling families with many children (as I hope to do/have both someday!). Thanks for sharing your life, opinions, experiences and cute kids with us all! When I have more than 2 minutes I’d love to email you with a few questions!

Blessings,
