For lunch this week four of our children did not beg to have garlic sandwiches (a piece of homemade bread slathered with several cloves of minced garlic). If they had asked for garlic sandwiches I would not have allowed it and they certainly would not have eaten more than one.
One day we took our school books and lunches out on the deck to enjoy the beautiful, cooler weather. (Of course this was not because of the VERY STRONG odor that emanated from some of the sandwiches.) As we sat on the deck eating and talking, I noticed a small group of children huddled around an object that I couldn’t see. As I approached I did not see an ant semi-smooshed into a glob of peanut butter so that he could not escape with the children gathered around studying him. What is it with my children and insects?
While the girls and I were playing makeover I did not inadvertently apply a little too much glitter to Alyssa’s face causing her to eerily resemble the tin man from the Wizard of Oz.
It was not difficult to remove.
When I asked the children if anyone knew what feasibility meant, Matthew did not immediately raise his hand and proceed to define it as “the ability to fease”. Parents do not have to deal with class clowns when they homeschool.
Wonder why we have so many children or homeschool, how we keep up with it all (we don’t), what about all that laundry? I’ve posted about a lot of topics and you can see the complete archives organized by topic here. There are also a lot more Not Me Monday’s.

The ability to fease is funny! My son is our class clown. Every school has one…even homeschools!

Now I know how you guys got over the flu. Garlic!
Not a big fan of plain raw garlic though myself. I prefer it cooked into stuff! Lol!
