Giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Tami who won a 24 x 24 Custom Wall Graphic.
Raising Olives’ sponsor has done it again with another exciting product and great giveaway. Have you seen this new trend in decorating? Reusable, re-positionable wall graphics?
Large Format Posters is giving two Raising Olives readers a free 24 x 24 custom wall graphic. These graphics are printed on a self-adhesive fabric that is safe for both paint and wallpaper and are printed with the same high quality process that they use to print their posters, so you will get beautiful detail in whatever photo, graphic or artwork that you choose.

The small print:
- Open to U.S. residents only.
- Shipping is free but the winner will be responsible for a $5 handling fee.

Hello, I would use a picture/pictures of my one year old Darling Marlee (born last year w/ Down syndrome and a heart defect that was repaired at 2 months old) sitting with my son Neo (just turning 6) and our new infant (due in December) to create a LASTING TRIBUTE to the Beauty, Grace, and MIRACLE of children with Down syndrome.
I would borrow this poster hanging to the local Down syndrome awareness center called GiGi’s (gigisplayhouse.org) to display at the Playhouse and/or take on the road to conventions and hospitals to help them enlighten and INSPIRE other parents and the community at large. Then it would find a permanent home on our wall.
Marlee is the perfect little girl I never knew that I always wanted. She enriches our family, stretches my soul, and shines like a beacon of God’s PURE love for everyone we meet. The pediatrican at her birth hit the nail on the head when he said, “I believe some souls are as close to God as they can be; and they have no work left to do. But a few choose to come here and be born to help US grow and do the work we need to do.” That’s our little Marlee girl!!!
You can feel free to view her blog at DarlingMarlee.blogspot.com. Please respect that this is a private family blog and I do not wish for the link to be sent in mass e-mails all around the internet… but I offer it here because if you know of a family or new parents who might benefit from our journey or be offered HOPE and JOY and EXCITEMENT in the light of a possible diagnosis, then by all means, let it be of service.
Much love,
Jerica
I have a soffet in my kitchen that I want to put a verse or “God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for our food” on, but just haven’t gotten around to doing it.
I have lost three babies in the past two years due to late first trimester miscarriages. We are elated to share we are expecting a sweet baby boy, fittingly, on Dec. 25th!! I would love the opportunity to use his baby photo or a maternity picture that says “I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD.” From 1 Samuel 1: 27-28
Our son will be our second living child and I want him to always know he was just as desired and longed for as his darling sister!
My daughter’s swim coach snapped a really cool picture of her standing on the edge of the pool. It’s the top picture on my blog at http://miscellaneoumusings-x.blogspot.com. My husband absolutely LOVES the picture and has requested it in poster size. He would be so thrilled to have this picture of his little Measle blown-up. He would probably want it in his office.
I think I would have a picture of my boys when they were little and all sitting on a fishing dock. It was taken from the back! I just LOVE it.
I think I’d like to have a favorite Scripture verse in a fancy font surrounding a black & white or sepia casual family picture. I love that these are re-positionable – since I am terrible about not putting anything up until I am sure I am not going to re-paint AGAIN!!!
I would love to have a poster size scene of a vintage picture maybe an old barn the ideas are rushing through my head now. Thanks for the giveaway.
I would use it to place the “house rules” and an inspirational picture for the whole family to see and remember.
I have been wanting to do inspirational bible verses around the upper part of the room to remind us how we are supposed to live, and remind us that there are goals we still are trying to attain no matter how old my husband and I get.
I would love a picture of grandchildren.
These are absolutely WONDERFUL! Hope i’m not to late to enter!!
