If you enjoy the concept, check out Geocaching. There are no nifty tie ins with other lesson plans, but you can learn a lot about map reading, GPS usage, and geography. You will be the amazed at the geocaches that are hiding practically in your backyard. You can find coordinates at http://www.geocaching.com/ . We have used this site and started finding some of the caches.
