Hi Heather - saw this comment today and thought I would chime in. We have many BlogFrog communities where the blog owners don't really have to participate in the community to keep it going. They usually do when they are first getting it going, or are growing it. But the idea is that, by providing your readers with a place to go to discuss anything that is on their minds (not just your posts), they actually "take it over" and it becomes a thriving place of its own - with or without you! How great is that!?

The way that I understand it this. Say I linked to your blog, every time that one of my readers clicked through that link to visit your blog it would show up as Raising Olives visiting. It is not necessarily me, the blog author, but it is someone who came to your blog from mine. Does that make sense? So if Raising Olives drove a good amount of traffic to your blog it could very possibly look as if "I" was visiting every few hours.

I will double check with Holly or Rustin to make sure that I explained that correctly and I'll let you know if I didn't. :)

Thanks.

Does BlogFrog have an auto feature where it automatically shows visitors even if they haven't actually visited? I have a couple visitors that seem to "stop by" about every couple hours. I can't imagine that they are THAT interested in what I have to say :) Could it be that they have an auto feature that makes it "seem" as if they have visited my page as a way to get them exposure?

Hi Heather - I'm very rarely "live" in my community and I haven't had any problems. I do try to check once a day M-F to keep up with what is going on, but that seems to be enough. I think that the BlogFrog forum is a great tool for people to connect or ask questions. Any other questions, just let me know or start a discussion in the forum. :)

Hi:)Just popping in to ask you how the community blog frog works for you. Do I just start up a conversation and let it go over time or do I need to be "live"? I still haven't figured that sucker out! Thanks Heather
