Sorry there’s no Not Me today. I’m fighting a sinus infection and nothing seems very funny right now.

Hope you feel better soon! My husband suffers from those at times. He also does not laugh much with them.

Thanks. After treating naturally for several days, I decided to just go with an antibiotic. I’m feeling marginally better today. Drinking lots of Kefir to hopefully keep a good balance of bacteria.

Netty pot? I should have stayed more caught up on my comments before I went for the antibiotics. Would you explain or link? Thanks Rachel!!!

I had one with one of my last pregnancies. Had no idea what was wrong and got so very sick before I got some treatment. Miserable! I think I’m beginning to feel better, I hope!

Sorry you’re under the weather! (Now there’s a strange expression. Anyone know the origin?) Hard to be an even-keeled mom of a multitude when you feel so bleh. Keep clinging to Him!

“Under the Weather” is a sailing term. It had to do with a position on ship that left whoever was on watch completely open to the elements, thus being “under the weather”. Sailors also would frequently get sick after standing on this watch.

No problem
. I’m glad you’re feeling better! I got on to post that I hoped you were feeling better and to let you know we were praying for you … then I got sidetracked because I knew the answer to where the phrase “under the weather” came from! Completely forgot to write a post to you. My brain is not working properly…. but I am glad you’re feeling a bit better!

Did you see Jamie’s response about the term “under the weather”? Cool!
