Christmas Bandits: Not Me Monday

Our two youngest boys are not beginning to team up to get into trouble.  They did not get together and unwrap some of the Christmas gifts that are already under the tree.

We do not allow trouble makers in our house.  (Anyone want two boys age 1 and 3?)

Typically when I have an  OB appointment the children and I make a fun day of it, taking a picnic lunch to the park or heading to a museum.   Needless to say, the children l0ve appointment days.   So last Monday I did not tell my husband and children that I had an OB appointment, get everyone ready to go and geared up  for a fun-filled day and tweet that I was headed to the OB  before I realized that my appointment wasn’t until this week.

Thanks Brandie. I’ve been feeling a bit lame in the “not me” department lately. So thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks for the offer of two little boys, but I already have a couple that age. I’ve considered placing the wrapped Christmas gifts UP HIGH somewhere this year. I’m using my past experience with candy.

Ours our still under the tree. I should take pictures of the torn/taped, torn/taped paper. :) They haven’t unwrapped any in the last 3 days, so maybe they’re learning. One can always hope.

bwahahahaha – that’s funny – unwrapping the gifts! Our almost 3 year old got to open a present at a holiday party last week and he promptly came home looking for presents with a ‘D’ on them for him to open! Poor kid!

Those little ones are just too smart for their own good. At least he was looking for a ‘D’!

I have also been guilty of forgetting when my appointments are… except usually, I end up showing up at the office and being sent home, only to return another day!

Oh, I’ve NEVER done that one. *rolls eyes* I suppose that is the silver lining, this time I remembered BEFORE we walked out the door.

Funny that we both had bandits in our ‘Not Me Monday’ posts…and they both involved under 3 year old boys! Kim

Oh dear! I’ve been wondering if my kiddos would open the presents that are already under the tree! So far so good. :)

    isn’t that disappointing?

I am sure my kids will start unwrapping sooner or later…just counting down til they figure out that there are fun things in the presents….

The great thing about it is that they didn’t get very far, so I don’t think the surprise is ruined.

Your ‘pregnant brain’ works better than my unpregnant one on a good day.

And your little guys may be teaming up for a tiny bit of trouble, but they are so cute!!!

    Enjoy the madness -

I think God makes them cute at this age for exactly that purpose. So you’ll put up with the trouble.

Love the post. I’m in the same boat except my two are 2 1/2 and 4 (well on 1-4 she will be 4). They are the reason we don’t have any wrapped gifts under the tree yet!! And hey, at least you didn’t do like I did and make it all the way to the dr and sit and wait only to have them call you over and tell you were a week early!!
    Have a great week.

Sadly, I have made it all the way to the doctor before, just not this time. Maybe I’m getting better…. nah. :)

I’ll take those 2 precious boys. I’m sure that together they won’t be able to equal the stunts Andrew (2) has pulled! :-)

They are just getting started, so may give Andrew a run for his money.
