Beautiful, hand-crafted, classic, solid wood, what more could you ask for in a toy? Pioneer Pastimes offers all that. These toys are delightful, well made and gorgeous. We have a few of their offerings and I love just running my hands over the surface. It’s
hard to say enough good things about these toys.
They offer pull and push toys, noise makers, teething toys and some toys for older children. The top that we have is the best top I have ever seen. My husband still gets it out after the children are in bed and plays with it. We’ve even gotten it out to show company. Seriously!!
Not only does Pioneer Pastimes offer quality toys, they love large families. So their giveaway comes with a twist. If the winner of our giveaway has less than 5 children they will receive one hand-crafted toy of their choice from Pioneer Pastimes. If the winner has between 5 and 9 children they will receive 2 toys of their choice and if the winner has 10 or more children they will receive 3 toys of their choice. Are you ready?

We have 9 children so I guess we’d qualify for 2 toys. We’d probably pick a pull toy and the top.

I would get the multi-wood top – my kids would all love it so I would probably have to get more than one! oh, and I have 7 kids – but probably only the youngest 4 would want one, but the other 3 would still play with them.

I would pick the Mama Bear and cubs. I have 6 children (so far!)

We would choose the wood top, my kids love spinning things. After that my favorite is the hippo! Too cute.
I have 5 children.
[Reply]
I love the wooden top! There is something so soul-satisfying about beautiful wood. I would either choose the top or one of the pull-toys – because of their awesome wheels!
I have 6 children – 4 still at home – and three granddaughters.
[Reply]
These are so darling! I’m so glad someone is still making wood toys! My two favorites are the Mama Bear with her cubs and the multi-wood Top. I have 5 children.
[Reply]
Oh, these are amazing! I have five kids, and I think they would love absolutely any of these (even if they think they are too mature for some of them!)
I think I would choose the top, then I’d choose the noisemaker (eek, can’t believe I said that). Though the hoop toss game looks great too, and of course, *I* want the mama bear pull toy.
What fantastic stuff!
[Reply]
I don’t have children, but I would choose the turtle push toy to give to a friend who has one daughter.

I love those! We have 7 children and I can’t decide which ones I like best. Hmm. Definitely mama bear wiht her cubs pull toy. Then I’m undecided between the top, the hoop toss toy, and the turtle pull toy. If I won, I’d have to make up my mind, I know.
I will be back, because I will post about this giveaway later today.

We have a noisemaker and it’s a lovely decoration.
It’s definitely more on grandparents shopping list.

I just bought the hippo push toy for our 18-month-old for Christmas. (I actually found it at a local store, after originally learning about these on your blog, Kimberly!) I also really like the turtle push toy, and the top would be my 2nd choice. We have 7 children.

I love the multi-wood top and know even my oldest boy would enjoy. The Applachian noisemaker would be a hit, too. I have two boys and one girl. But it is the boys who would have the most fun with these toys. I had a homemade Jacob’s Ladder toy that we used to take to church to keep the boys quiet during the sermon.
