Beautiful, hand-crafted, classic, solid wood, what more could you ask for in a toy? Pioneer Pastimes offers all that. These toys are delightful, well made and gorgeous. We have a few of their offerings and I love just running my hands over the surface. It’s
hard to say enough good things about these toys.
They offer pull and push toys, noise makers, teething toys and some toys for older children. The top that we have is the best top I have ever seen. My husband still gets it out after the children are in bed and plays with it. We’ve even gotten it out to show company. Seriously!!
Not only does Pioneer Pastimes offer quality toys, they love large families. So their giveaway comes with a twist. If the winner of our giveaway has less than 5 children they will receive one hand-crafted toy of their choice from Pioneer Pastimes. If the winner has between 5 and 9 children they will receive 2 toys of their choice and if the winner has 10 or more children they will receive 3 toys of their choice. Are you ready?

Oh how beautiful!! I would definitly choose the mama bear with the cubs & probably the top. I have 7 children.

The turtle push toy is just adorable! We have 2 kids right now. Which is kind of crazy because I thought I was done after my first. Seven years later I was bit by the baby bug (God had other plans for me). We just had our 2nd and I’d like 2 or 3 more!

I love the hoop toss game and the turtle pull toy( it seems so open ended, could easily be a vw bug as well
) I have 7 children. This could possibly be my fave giveaway you have done!
[Reply]
I like the top. The hoop toss game looks neat too!

I don’t have a baby any more, but if I did I would love the ladybug teething toy! Since my kids are too old for that one, my next favorite is the multi-wood spinning top. I have 3 children.

I would love the Momma Bear & cubs pull toy. My kids would be all over it and love to play with it.
Currently we have 4 but in August we’ll have 5 kiddos!

Kimberly, my heart goes out to you and their families. no matter how good God is (and He is!) the pain of losing a loved one is still very real. especially two at one time.

Thank you. I know the husbands and children will appreciate all the prayers that they can get.

My husband and I have 7 children and the 2 toys I would choose would be the Mama Bear & Cubs pull toy for my 15 month old daughter, and Jacob’s Ladder for my 3 year old son!
Blessings, Dawn

The Jacob’s ladder and the Bear and cubs would be my picks – I have5 kids.
It’s fun to see how many kids everyone has.

The mulit-wood top looks really neat! And I have 5 children. *Ü*
[Reply]
My picks would be the Mama Bear with cubs and the hoop toss game. How could a mom to many resist the Mama bear toy? I have 5 wonderful children and sure do hope the Lord blesses us with more!
[Reply]
Oh I can’t choose – my favorite would be between the ladybug teething toy and the elephant push toy. With 8 children it’s a tough call – the baby would enjoy the teething toy but the next 2 older kiddos would enjoy the elephant push toy!

Such gorgeous toys! It certainly makes for a tough choice, but I think I would probably go with the Multi-wood top, and then either the Mama Bear and Cubs pull toy or the Elephant push toy. We have 7 children–11 1/2 yrs., 10 yrs., 8 yrs., almost 6 yrs., 3 1/2 yrs. TWINS, and 19 1/2 mo., and I am 18 1/2 weeks along with our second set of TWINS to make for numbers 8 and 9 when they are born in the spring, Lord willing!

How fun to have two sets of twins. Do you know Heather @ It’s Twinsanity? She is the only other person I know who has two sets of twins. Although I’m sure it’s more common than I realize.

I love the hoop toss game! I only have one kiddo.

I have three sweet children. Love wooden toys…we are trying to replace all of the plastic junk with wooden toys! I would pick the hippo for my youngest son.
[Reply]
two boys (2 and a half and 6 mo). My two year old LOVES the zoo, so I’m sure any of those animals would be a huge hit!
[Reply]
We would really enjoy the multi-wood top and any of the push toys. These are some beautiful items. We have 11 children, but only 8 are still living at home.
[Reply]
I love the Momma Bear toy and the Ladybug teether. We have 9 children from 8 months to 12 years.
[Reply]
My two boys would love the mama bear pull toy. My (almost)two year old just loves bears (and dogs).
[Reply]
My favorite is the Momma Bear and cubs pull toy. Our little ones love pull toys. We have 5 children.
[Reply]
I am afraid my children are too old, except my engineer son would probably like the top. But I would love them for grandchildren, does that count? How about 20 grandchildren?
[Reply]
Those are beautiful. I would choose the elephant, hippo or turtle. We have 8 children.
[Reply]
Such beautiful toys, it is hard to choose. I love the ladybug teether and my older girls like the hoop toss. We have (nearly) 6 children 9 yo and younger (#6 is due in 4 weeks). We like the push toys also, but couldn’t choose just one
[Reply]
It’s so hard to choose a favorite! I love the mama bear with her cubs pull toy, the top, the ladybug teething ring, the turtle push toy… they looks so beautiful!
We have 5 children, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 7 mo. : )

I really like the elephant wooden push toy. So far we have 2 children but, are hoping for many more.

I think they are all adorable! My children would probably get the most use out of the top or noise maker, but I love the animals! My seven children are ages 7 down to due-in-March.
[Reply]
These are great! I have 3 kids. We had a hard time choosing too, but decided we’d like the top best.
[Reply]
I think the wooden turtle is adorable. We have 2 children – 2 yrs and 4 months old.
[Reply]
Oh, my! What creative toys! I just can’t decide which I like best. Our two-year old voted for the bear and cubs; the girls voted for the top; and I’m voting for the ladybug teether for the baby due in May (3 cherubs currently)!
[Reply]
MY youngest would love the bear family! Our middle girl would love the appalachian noise maker.
We’re a family with 5 kids 18, 16, 9, 5 and 2. We homeschool using waldorf inspired methods and cultural immersion. This autumn we’ve been immersed in Mi’kmaq culture and my kids favorite story is about a mother bear who takes in a foundling Mi’kmaq boy and through their relationship he returns to his people and teaches them not to hunt the mama bears in their dens because it orphans the babies….actually, I think they’d all love the mama bear and babies!
[Reply]
I don’t have any kiddos but I do have nieces and nephews who would love these toys.
[Reply]
I think my boys would love the hoop and stick game. If my #5 due in June puts us into the 5-9 category I’d probably choose the ladybug teether as well- so much prettier than plastic!
