Mmm, pancakes! Did you know that pancakes can help you make a difference in your community? Bisquick Pancake Nation is a national effort to inspire pancake lovers to unite through pancake breakfasts and enable you to raise funds for those organizations that will make a difference in your community. From now through May 31st you may even apply for a $250 grant for your qualifying, non-profit organization.
The Bisquick Pancake Nation website offers all the information that you need to help you plan and host your own pancake breakfast fundraiser. You may also search for other pancake breakfasts in your area. Share pictures of events you’ve hosted or get some tips for some fun toppings for your pancakes.
To celebrate pancakes and help get the word out about the Bisquick Pancake Nation, Bisquick and My Blog Spark are giving away this Bisquick Prize Pack to one Raising Olives reader.
Can I just say that our family LOVES this prize pack? (Anything that adds to my collection of Lodge cast iron gets top scores from me. I love cast iron! )

We love to add fresh blueberries to our pancakes. YUM! We also on rare occasions add chocolate chips for a special treat.

I love to add blueberries to my pancakes. I add them right in the batter and hope that they turn my cakes nice and blue.

How do you make pancakes for 11 persons? I find it hard to keep up with only 7 people eating them while I bake.
Happy Easter

Truth be told, I don’t make pancakes for 11 people, but my kids do.
We have a large griddle that goes over 2 eyes on the stove so that we can make 8 pancakes at a time. It’s still a big task, but the children firmly believe it’s worth it.
