After I took this picture, Nicholas (1) wanted to see himself on the camera screen.
After observing the screen intently for a moment he said, “Tyoot” (his version of cute). Then a second later, he looked up at me, wrinkled his nose, pointed at the camera screen and said, “Mess”.

LOL! Very tyoot!
My 2-year-old son came over to me while I was looking at the picture. He laughed and said “Oah! Me!” (his way of saying “Noah! Me!”) They are about the same age and I do see some similarities!

So, so cute! It’s so great that you can let him get that messy- I’m learning that more and more all the time (I USED to be ridiculous about keeping the kids clean- how BORING!!!)! He’s a doll!

Oh Jenny. Don’t give me credit for “letting” him get that messy.
He was helping his 6 year old sister make the cookies and she brought him to me saying, “Mom, Nick is getting into trouble.” (No kidding) I just get credit for getting the camera before cleaning him up.
My rule for kitchen work with little kids? Don’t watch. I’m happier, their happier, it’s a great rule.

I just came across your blog the other day. It is so nice to see families such as yours. I can’t believe how much he looks like you.
