When the opportunity for this review came to my email box I knew that I had to say yes for my husband’s sake.
The Grill Daddy is a steam powered grill-cleaning tool that sanitizes grills and eliminates the burnt on food, grease and dirt. Cleaning grills can be a difficult and time-consuming task but the alternative is far worse. Unwashed racks can house bacteria that could contaminate food and leave an unsanitary and bad taste.
Utilizing specially designed stainless-steel brushes, the Grill Daddy releases water as users brush, hitting the grill and turning to steam while rinsing away unsanitary debris.
Other features:
· Steam-powered
· No rancid greasy residue builds up on the brush (liquefies and melts it away)
· Safe for porcelain, steel and iron grills (hot or cold)
· Ergonomic handle keeps hands away from heat and provides maximum leverage
Mark loves to grill, but grill clean up, not so much. The Grill Daddy promised to make cleaning up easier. What more could a guy ask for?
Grill Daddy is a cleaning brush with the unique feature of using steam to clean and sanitize the grill surface. There are two brush heads, one for loosening and removing larger debris and one for more fine cleaning. Both brush heads are removable and dishwasher safe so that you don’t have to hand wash a dirty, greasy grill brush.
The handle is nicely designed to enable the grill cleaner (Mark) to exert steady pressure as he cleans the grill.
What Mark thought:
The Grill Daddy brushes are heavy duty, better than others that we’ve purchased. It did a great job cleaning the grill and the fact that both brushes can be removed and washed in the dishwasher is a definite plus.
The “steam powered” portion of the Grill Daddy was not exactly what he expected and ended up being disappointing to him. The way that this functions is that you fill the handle of the Grill Daddy with water and when you turn a knob the water drips onto the hot grill producing steam and helping with the cleaning.
The Grill Daddy has done a good job on getting our grill cleaner and that makes both of us happy, but you don’t just have to take our word for it. Grill Daddy is going to be giving away a Grill Daddy to one Raising Olives reader.

We have a charcoal grill that is near and dear to our hearts. Our favorite foods to grill are steak (prime rib), veggie kabobs, corn, and of course hot dogs and hamburgers. My opinion is that just about everything tastes better on the grill… I think we might try grilled salmon soon. Happy BBQ-ing!
