I saw these videos on Jen’s blog (Jen is expecting her 8th baby at the same time we’re expecting our little one, hi Jen!) and just had to share perhaps it’s because we have a Savannah who is 5 years old or perhaps it is because the Savannah on these tapes is simply amazing.
Be sure to watch this one too. I love where she says that she’s a bit shaky!
As I’m watching this I’m wondering if my kids would handle the situation as calmly as Savannah did, I’m not sure. How about yours?

This makes me just want to cry….for her courageousness and “matter of fact” personality. Daddy should be proud! Mommy has done well!

When I’m pretending to sleep, my son will give me a kiss on the cheek to wake me up. I’m not sure that if I was unconscious on the floor he would do anything other then give me kisses and wait for me to roll over and tickle him. I *loved* how Savannah was concerned about the appropriateness of how she was dressed when the ambulance arrived.

Unfortunately we had to teach our oldest how to do this diliberately by the time she was 2 1/2. During my child bearing years I was experiencing uncontrollable grand mal seizures despite medications. While my hubby called every hour on the hour sometimes to make sure I would answer but she was taught over and over how to dial 911 just in case. PRAISE GOD she never did have to use it. God always took care of her and me by my seizures only taking place when my hubbby was home. I look back on that and am so grateful for God watching out for us during those years of hardship. God is always faithful!

Holy cow, that’s just amazing. I don’t know many five years that could’ve even stayed focused for 10 minutes, much less stayed so calm and supportive for her daddy. <3
