This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Bethany who said, “I love the mint chocolate towel; it would be a gift for my sister who is expecting a baby soon! I have a nursing cover, and do love it!” for winning the Bebe au Lait hooded towel.
A few months before Isabella was born I asked some of my friends about their favorite, can’t live without baby/mommy products. Bebe au Lait was one of the top recommendations.

Bebe au Lait is probably best know for their classy nursing covers (now that I’ve seen the quality of their other things I would love to have one of these), but they also offer high quality burp cloths, hooded towels, bibs and more.
Bebe au Lait sent me a pack of burp cloths and a hooded towel. Can you say luxury? I’ve burped and bathed nine babies before Isabella and have used a lot of burp cloths and baby towels but I’ve never had any of this quality before. These are not only beautiful (I always make sure that I have these burp cloths when I go out) they are also delightful to use and make me feel quite spoiled
Both are made of thick 100% cotton terry cloth and are embellished with Bebe au Lait’s
signature 100% cotton fabrics. I love the lovely, classy fabric selection. The burp cloths and hood of the towel are made of a double layer of terry cloth for super absorbency where it’s really needed.
The burp cloths are a smaller than what I’ve typically used (16′” x 6″ after several washes) and when I first saw them I wondered if they would be adequate to catch all that a big spitter has to offer, but we’ve had no problems. I think the key is that these burp cloths are more absorbent and so rather than the spit-up rolling down the cloth and onto the floor (isn’t that what happens with the burp cloths you use?), the Bebe au Lait cloths absorb it.
The towel is sized generously enough to accommodate toddlers. It’s large enough for our tall 3 (nearly 4) year old to use comfortably.
The quality materials, lovely trim and nice ‘extras’, like an inside loop for hanging, make me love this towel.
If you’ve read Raising Olives for long you know that I’m going to be honest with you and here it is. While I absolutely adore the burp cloths and the towel and was surprised at the quality and attention to detail, I am too cheap frugal and would not have paid the Bebe au Lait prices to purchase them for myself.
However, now that I’ve had the opportunity to use and enjoy these products and seen the quality first hand, I am purchasing them to use as baby gifts. The fabrics are classy and beautiful and most will work for either a boy or a girl. Bebe au Lait products offer just the right amount of ‘spoilage’ for a new mom and baby. The burp cloths are probably my favorites, I know that I would love to have another set!
While we’re talking about honesty. The above picture of sweet Bella apparently fresh from the bath and wrapped in the luxurious Bebe au Lait towel? Completely staged. Since Bella enjoys baths just as much as she enjoys daddy time, visitors or anything other than nursing and I didn’t think you wanted to look at this face
I nursed Isabella, stripped the sleeper off of her shoulders and quickly staged the happy not crying pictures (yes all of them) before she had time to realize that she wasn’t eating. Complete honesty? You’ll get it here.

I like the mint chocolate for a towel. I do have a nursing cover but i followed a fellow moms advice and got a boring one. If its too pretty people will come over andask u about it!

I love the chocolat print! I love most of the prints! I do have a nursing cover, it is a simple one that I found on sale on Etsy. It has been a lifesaver with baby #4 because toddler #3 likes to play “peek a boo” when Mommy is nursing. When I had my first and second children, I would be so nervous nursing in public with just a blanket over me. Now I wear nursing tops. I alternate between 2 but they are so worth it.

love the Capri print! And yes, I used a hooter hider!

I would choose Mint Chocolate. I did not use a nursing tent. My kids hated having stuff on/in their faces and yanked it off.

would loveto win this giveaway since I have a baby due in 9 weeks. I think my favorite was the chocolate print. I do not have a nursing cover as a yet.

I like the chocolat design. I don’t have a nursing cover (nor am I likely to have one any time soon. Yikes! They’re expensive.) With my daughter I simply used a blanket to cover up in public. Now that we are expecting our second child (after losing two pregnancies since November), a splurge of luxury would be most appreciated! Thanks for the opportunity!

I would choose the Mint Chocolate.

Maybe I am supposed to say I like Papillion and Yoko too.

I do not have a nursing cover, have just used a blanket. But now I am intrigued. My 2 mo. old is beginning to yank the blanket off. Not so good.
I like all of their prints, but think the Papillion or mint chocolate or sweet spot would be my favorite. How is that for narrowing it down.

I am having a baby boy on Oct. 14 and really like the Mint Chocolate fabric. Thanks for the tip!

i like the soft spot print. no, i don’t use/have one.

Those are so cute. I love the Chocolat color, but really all of them are so cute and trendy.

Beautiful! I like the Yoko fabric myself. I was given a cover a friend made during my last pregnancy, but as the pregnancy did not go full term, I have never used it. Here’s to trying it out in September!!!!

I love my nursing cover from here! I was given the chocolate and have used it for the past 3 babies. My first three babies I tried different ones and never liked them. My BebeAuLait was worth the price! I would love to try a hooded towel, and the Pappilon would be delightful on our little Princess.. but she could share with all her big brothers too

I love the hot dots towel. I love lots of color.
[Reply]
I like the black and white Yoko fabric. I don’t have any babies yet, so I don’t have a nursing cover.

I like the mint chocolate fabric…probably because I love mint chocolate chip ice cream! All of the prints are very pretty though.
Yes, I did use a nursing cover with my first baby and will probably use one with my second baby in about 9 weeks!
[Reply]
I love the chocolat fabric. I do not have a nursing cover like this, but if we are blessed with another baby, I would want one of these.
[Reply]
I love the hooded towel with the papillon fabric! I did use a nursing cover with my daughter however these look like much better quality! I may have to switch over for next time.

I would choose Yoko, I just like black and white- I do currently have a cover- it is a smaller, really thin material- I like it but I would enjoy a larger one- I only use when at church or musuem and some family’s house
[Reply]
I do have a nursing cover- but it’s different than the bebe au lait ones!
I like the hot dots fabric!

I would choose the Hot Dots fabric.
I do have a nursing cover, (though not from Bebe au Lait.) A friend made it for me and I LOVE it.
Definitely recommend it.

What beautiful products. I never had even heard of the company other than for nursing covers. Wasn’t even going to read the post since I am not nursing right now, but I am glad I did cause there are some beautiful stuff there. I would have to go with either the hot dots or the shrine fabrics…. which one exactly would be hard to choose!
[Reply]
I’d get the Parfait, it’s hard to choose with so many cute choices!
[Reply]
I like the shrine aqua. I don’t own a nursing cover, but I have used my friend’s. I loved it!
[Reply]
I love the Kensington pattern! They are all so pretty, and the burp clothes look so nice as well! I am due with my 3rd baby in 3 weeks, and have never had a nursing apron before( always used blankets) and they always come off! What a neat idea to have an apron!
[Reply]
For myself, I’d probably choose the simple organic ‘steel’ cover. While I admire and enjoy looking at the other fabric designs, they just aren’t my style/colors. But for my sister expecting her first, or someone else, I’d definitely be looking at the patterns!
I do have one that was given to me with my first. It’s a sort of pale aqua with brown print. I loved it. Using it, not so much the color/print. Even though my little girl is weaned, I still have it in my diaper bag. (I need to wash it before the next one decides to make an appearance.) Just as well! One day I came back to the church nursery to pick the little girl up, and found that one of the other mothers had loaned it to a visiting mom who didn’t have one!

I love Papillion or mint chocolate prints. I have never used a cover while nursing (even in VERY public places…perhaps people might wish that I would!

I love the Sevilla print.

I would choose Shrine Aqua.
When I was full time nursing, I frequently used a nursing cover (although not Bebe au Lait brand)…they are great!
