When the wonderful people (and I’m not just saying that, ERGObaby has been a delightful company to work with) at ERGObaby saw the video of Nicholas’ reaction to our ERGO they thought he would enjoy an ERGObaby doll Carrier of his very own. Um, yes!
I didn’t even know that ERGO offered doll carriers, did you? Nicholas loves his!
He even calls his doll what we always call him and his big brother when we wear them.
That’s “ERGO baby” for those of you less familiar with 2 year old speech.
I wrote a full review of ERGObaby carriers or you may want to visit ERGObaby and just get your own.
I posted this because I wanted to and because our family loves ERGO. I was not compensated for this post.

LOL, I didn’t even notice the background noises. You’re right, never a quiet moment, it’s wonderful.

How adorable! Because of you I actually bought an Ergo carrier for my new baby. With my first four kiddos I never would have considered baby wearing. But with our newest addition it has been a life saver! Noah will sleep through anything and I can still chase our other four kiddos and snuggle him at the same time
Love it!!!!
In fact, I am teaching VBS in a few weeks and I plan to “wear” Noah while I teach 30 preschoolers!!!
Thanks for the great tip

I’m glad that you are happy with your ERGO and welcome to the baby wearing club.

I realized last month that my 2 yr old was trying to wear a babydoll by carrying her in a pillowcase over her shoulder! So I made her a little sling, here

What a sweetie!
After trying a couple ring slings and just not being able to use them due to my bad back and neck and my very large and fast growing babies, I’ve been using a Moby wrap with my last couple for the 1st few months and then it’s been plain old hip carrying for me… I’m really hoping to get my hands on an Ergo with this next one, Lord willing, as the sturcture and support seem to be just exactly what I need to carry around my big babies! And I love the doll carriers, though I may have to drop a lot of cash to get several of them for all of my doll playing littles!

FYI- when you go to embed a youtube video, unlick “include related videos” and then after your video plays it won’t have all of those other videos shown along the bottom- some of which tend to be very NOT related, and often inappropriate… Just thought I’d let you know! Sometimes videos that you would not want connected to your site will show up…

Thanks Ali! I’m going to fix that.

Aren’t those Ergo doll carriers great! My oldest daughter saved up her money to buy her two little sisters their own carriers for Christmas. They love wearing their dolls just like I wear their little brother! I’m so glad Ergo started making them!

Kimberly,
Yet another adorable video! Thank you for your continued support and your kind words. We truly appreciate your support!

I also love our Ergo. I have a question though…My little Ruby (only a little over 3 months old) weighs 16 pounds. Quite a chubber! She does not fit well in the sideways position b/c she is quite wide. Can I go ahead and turn her facing me with her little legs spread? I do not want to hurt her developing hips.

Hi MomStarr.
From what I understand you can put them in that front facing position as soon as they have adequate head control. However, I think I’d contact ERGO directly (or search their site) because I really don’t know much about baby hips.
