Congratulations to Amy @ A Call to Adventure and Melissa @ These are the Moments for winning the copies of Large Family Logistics.
Yes, you read that right. Raising Olives is giving away not one, but TWO copies of Large Family Logistics. Earlier this week I gushed (and a lot of you gushed) about how much this book has helped our home. Moving chore time to the afternoon is just
the tip of the iceberg, there are many great ideas and practical tips. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to share this resource with you.
Large Family Logistics isn’t just for large families. It would be helpful for any mother who is running a home. (I think it would make a wonderful wedding or baby shower gift). Kim has chocked this book full of practical tips from meal planning and quiet time to stain removal and ideas for successful breastfeeding and chore training.
But LFL isn’t just a practical, how-to book for managing a home. It also hits the heart of the matter.
Motherhood is a life of sacrifice; it is a life poured out for our children. So what are we to do to get some space from it all? When we are honest with ourselves, we know that it is not “Me Time” we need or a “Girls’ Night Out”. Children are not a burden to escape or endure; they are a blessing that drives us to Christ because we are incapable of parenting well without Him. God is who we need. While there are helpful strategies we can employ in order to have a more peaceful day with our children, the number one thing we must do is to deny Self and cling to the cross. ~Kim Brenneman, Large Family Logistics

Only one area that needs the most work? I need routines in every area and feel so out of control sometimes. But I would say a cleaning schedule or system.
Keeping the kids rooms picked up is where I struggle the most! I’d love to win a copy of this book and try out some of the strategies!
Second entry-I posted on Facebook.
All areas! I am pregnant with # 6 right now and very sick! Please I need some incouragement! Would love this book.

The area in my home that needs the most attention is probably my office.
I ordered mine from Amazon after reading your last post. I got it the next day! I have been so busy with B90days and planning for 60 meals that I have not yet sat down with it, but it is a large book, well worth the price!
One area that needs the most help is using our time wisely. We think of big projects to do, but have a hard time getting started on them. Or if we do get started we think we need to finish it all in one day instead of portioning out the project. We also tend to waste time that could be spent doing other more important things.
My kid’s toy room could use the most help!
2nd entry…. I posted about this on Facebook.
Chore time is getting tougher and tougher.
I could really use help in scheduling with the laundry, meal times, cleaning, schooling…EVERYTHING!! :0) I am 11 weeks along with #7 and I really need to get things going well before we add this blessing to our house. Thank you for this opportunity!
I put it on my FB too!!
I need tons of help!! I have clutter laundry mountains and a heart that desires order and routine! I want my children to remember their childhood fondly and I believe that this book can lead to more happy memories!
Some tips on keeping up with laundry!
My family room… it’s a catch-all room that has books, our only tv, sewing area, toys etc.
The one area I would like more help is chore time. Yeesh! I think I’ve tried about a billion ways to encourage a daily clean-up time/routine for the children and myself. Okay, maybe I’ve only tried a half a billion ways. Either way, all attempts have been futile.
Awesome giveaway!! *fingers crossed*
Posted on my blog too!
I am so excited about this book! I think that if I start implementing a lot of the systems now, while the fam is still small, it’ll be an easier learning curve as our two small children go to a few small children and more! It’s already on my birthday list, but if I got for free that’d be absolutely wonderful!
Thanks for the giveaway! The area I really need work on is balancing housework along with everything else I already have to do!

My kitchen counters! Part of them is the catchall for stuff (junk). Laundry is starting to get out of hand too haha.

I shared on facebook. Im so excited about this. I JUST put it in my amazon cart, then decided I needed to wait to spend the money. Thanks!!
I think the main thing I need help with is meal organization. I NEED to use that crockpot more. This is so exciting! I will be buying it even if I don’t win. Looking forward to it! Thank you!

Physical areas of the house? Well, my kitchen always seems to be a disaster!
Other areas? I really struggle with balance. I want/need to get in some exercise, not only for my personal health but my mental health. I have a hard time finding a place for me and the things I like- exercise, reading, sewing. So, more of a balance, I guess. My mantra has been “maybe now is not my season for ____” but I would like to see if I can take better care of myself!
I am a mom of 3, ages 8, 4 & 2… i am withidrawling our 8 year old from school today and will be beginning homeschooling with him on Monday…I am sure this book would help in ways I can’t even begin to fathom:)
I would like advice on how to get all the chores done and encourage the littles to help too. This book sounds great!

I definitely need help with a cleaning schedule- even just to keep up with the basics right now! I can’t wait to read this book- it looks soooooo good!
I need help incorporating special prjects into the day – I can get the daily stuff sone, but when its time to say, clean out the garage, I can’t find the time. I’d love to read this book!
My kitchen! Ack! Need I say more??

I need some help in finding and ESTABLISHING a routine that works so we can get “it all” done in a day. Based on what you said and what your other readers said, our family would most certainly benefit from this book! Thanks! =)
I’d say my bathrooms could probably use the most work. I dread doing them!
My laundry area is the hardest place to keep under control! Maybe this book can help me tame that beast! Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
With 9 of my 10 children still at home, we need to work on being consistent with a schedule and completing chores with a happy heart. If we don’t win, I MUST order this book soon!
I’m not the owner of a home. I’m just the oldest daughter looking for new ideas. I hope this doesn’t disqualify me, but I’m going to say my room needs the most help for obvious respect and slander issues!
And because my room does need lots of help.
Thanks, Heather
second entry…I posted about your give away on facebook!
I’m sure this book would be helpful in so many ways but if I had to pick one thing specific….chores!! =)
I could use this book in ALL areas of my life! LOL Actually, with 4 children, homeschooling and having rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia…time management (and book management) are my most pressing need….and I love the idea of chores in the afternoon! Thanks for offering this giveaway!
I would love to win this book for my friend. She has 2 adopted daughters and 3 boys of their own all under 4 1/2. She and her husband recently moved away from family due to his job. She is so excited about the possibility of winning this book. If I win, she will get my copy. Thanks for the opportunity.
I would love to learn more about chore training. My kids are young (4, 2, and 9 months) and we’re just getting started in this area.
I shared it on fb.
