This has been one of our favorite birthday desserts for many years. Cheesecake and brownies, how can you go wrong?
Chocolate Chip Brownie Cheesecake
1 (19.8 oz) package fudge brownie mix (or scrumptious homemade brownies)
3 (8oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 and grease the bottom of a 9″spring form pan. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions (or make homemade brownies) and spread evenly into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until set.
Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in condensed milk. Add egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
When brownies are finished, mix chocolate chips into cheese mixture. Then pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Reduce heat to 300 and bake for 50 minutes. Cool.
