My sister-in-law, Kansas and her daughter Lorelei are staying with us this week. It’s been a fun visit full of hair fixing, water playing, baby holding and late night talking.
When 11 month old Lorelei found out that my sister (her other aunt) and her kids were coming over to visit, she thoughtfully asked her momma to customize her onesie so Aunt Alondra didn’t feel left out.
But as soon as they left Lorelei promptly
ate removed the customization to show her true loyalty and prove that I’m her favorite auntie.
That’s my girl!
Bella (11 months) has asked Lorelei if she could borrow the onesie and wear it while Aunt Kansas is here. Talk about peer pressure.
While Bella and Lorelei’s first meeting didn’t go over well, this time they are quite content to play side by side, ignore each other or use the other one to climb to a toy or position that they desire. They are also becoming skilled at confusing everyone in the house because they look more alike than last time.
And because we think that these girls are super cute, you get some bonus pictures.
