I’m Her Favorite

My sister-in-law, Kansas and her daughter Lorelei are staying with us this week. It’s been a fun visit full of hair fixing, water playing,  baby holding and late night talking.

When 11 month old Lorelei found out that my sister (her other aunt) and her kids were coming over to visit, she thoughtfully asked her momma to customize her onesie so Aunt Alondra didn’t feel left out.

But as soon as they left Lorelei promptly ate removed the customization to show her true loyalty and prove that I’m her favorite auntie.

That’s my girl!

Bella (11 months) has  asked Lorelei if she could borrow the onesie and wear it while Aunt Kansas is here. Talk about peer pressure.

While Bella and Lorelei’s first meeting didn’t go over well, this time they are quite content to play side by side, ignore each other or use the other one to climb to a toy or position that they desire. They are also becoming skilled at confusing everyone in the house because they look more alike than last time.

And because we think that these girls are super cute, you get some bonus pictures.

That is so sweet! What an adorable girl! I love that onesie! I keep seeing it at the Carter’s Store and I so want to get it! But I have to (im)patiently wait for my brother and sister-in-law to have a little one! :)

Too sweet! It sounds like you are having a wonderful visit, and family visits are such a blessing to Military families during extended absences (My hubby is in the Air Force)!

I hope your brother is doing well and staying safe! My BIL is over there too!

They are absolutely adorable and look so much alike. I think it is cool that they so close in age. My daughter is 1 day younger then my cousin’s daughter and 1 week older then my other cousins daughter. It will definitely be very interesting to see them grow up together.

Visits from our little niece and nephew are so special too. Our children are building so many memories with their two little cousins. Our nephew helped make a birthday cake for our little one’s first birthday. We came up with a super simple cake so the little one’s could make it all themselves!

Fun time baking and fun time with the cousins. Glad you had a wonderful time with your family too.
