Coming August 2012

We are delighted to announce that God has blessed us with another precious gift. Baby #11 is due in August.

Coming August 2012

We’d love prayers for our family during this time. I’ve been struggling with dehydration over the past several weeks and have required multiple rounds of IV fluids.

Thanks for rejoicing and praying with us.

Congrats! How exciting! I’m expecting a little one in July just before you. I just got over having the stomach flu, but that seems nothing compared to what you’re going through. I’ll be praying for you!

I most tell you the first time I visited your blog I admired you but thought no way would I be joining the big family ranks. Truthfully your blog really opened my heart to some things the Lord was telling me. After visiting more and reading a great book (Full Quiver) we were blessed with a baby girl last Sept and she will become a big sister this Sept. Thank you so much for the part that you played. I am so tickled to see that you to are expecting another. That is so wonderful. Thank you again for being so public with your thoughts and beliefs. You may never know how much of a difference it makes.

Congratulations! I am also due in August, with #8. I am almost 12 weeks and just beginning to feel better. Morning sickness usually lasts for 16 weeks for me, but I started taking milk thistle and B6 this pregnancy and I think it has helped! I will be praying for you.

    In Christ, Laura

How exciting! Congratulations! I’m due with our fifth on Aug. 17. Very cool!

I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I can’t even begin to tell you how huge an encouragement you are to me–this pregnancy has been much harder than my previous ones, both physically and spiritually, but reading about your pregnancy stories has really helped me. Thank you!

I know you are busy now, but when you get a moment I was wondering if you might answer a question. I thought I had read that you had your tenth via c-section; I just had my sixth this way as he was breech. I’m struggling with the idea that I should use birth control so as to let the scar heal for the two years the dr said it would need. I’m trying not to get too personal here and I’m not even sure I am being clear. I guess my question is how did you handle this situation and I apologize for my being nosy? And very heartfelt congratulations to you and also my gratitude for your shining light. It has led me and my family closer to the Lord.

I have a wonderful OB who is accustomed to dealing with moms of many. As a matter of fact he just delivered a friend’s 19th child.

Our OB loves the Lord, is extremely pro-life and respects large families. All through my C-section with Bella, he hummed ‘Amazing Grace’. As he finished sewing me up he said, “Everything looks great. We can do this again in about 9 months.”

So we were given no admonition from our doctor to wait at least 2 years. I suppose that this has a lot to do with a doctor’s view of children, God’s sovereignty and the blessing of life.

May the Lord grant you wisdom.

Thank you so much. I’ve been researching c-sections(mine was unplanned so I was fairly ignorant) and see that it all comes down to having the right doctor. The disdainful ob who wants to tie my tubes or put me on something will just need to be replaced. I’m new to Phoenix and I don’t know anyone who has a large family so not sure who to see for my next pregnancy-knowing me I’ll need an ob shortly after my post-partum visit Anyway I’m rambling and over-sharing. I am putting my faith in the Lord and I know he will guide me through this divine endeavor. Thank you for your example and answers.

Congratulations on another precious gift! My friend shared this article on how to cure morning sickness…I shared it with another friend who was terribly ill, and it worked great for her. Maybe it will help you! http://gbbcwellnessblog.com/?p=290

    Dear Kate,
I haven’t had a c-section, but when I was one month along with my 8th child I had a similar abdominal incision. It was for an emergency surgery to remove my left ovary, fallopian tube and the large, about-to-rupture tumor that had mangled them. That scar was sometimes itchy and uncomfortable as it was stretched over the next months, but it did heal. The uterine wall is also remarkable, as I have seen during my present pregnancy: the Lord has healed mine from a partial abruption in mid-December. Subsequent u/s checks look better each time. God is so faithful to ‘gently lead those that are with young’ (see Isaiah 40:11).

We trust God knows what He is doing but this was not in our plans. I am so blessed to have found your blog and encouragement here. I am still reading through the bible! I hope to finish before the baby is born. Congratulations on your gift from God.

How exciting! I am due with our 6th Aug. 9th! I have always wanted a large family. My husband, however, only wanted three. After our 3rd child, God has seen fit to bless us with 3 more to raise and 2 that He has taken to Heaven through miscarriage. My husband still doesn’t want more children, but He is a wonderful father to the ones God continues to bless us with. However, I have had c-sections with every child and am unsure how many more I can have without serious complications. I pray God will give discernment or just take care of that situation for me in some way. My husband wishes me to have my tubes tied this time. I am in constant prayer that if I am unable to safely have more children that God will help me be at peace with it. And if I can have more children, that He will change my husband’s heart. I so love having babies around the house. And as they continue to grow, each new stage has so many more joys. Congrats on your newest addition! I pray all goes well for you and baby!
