Wonderful Weekend Links

From the time I first became a mom I’ve keenly felt the dearth of women who are willing to make the time to fulfill their Titus 2 calling. Weary Mothers and the Titus 2 Women They (We) Need thank you for the reminder Bambi.

Could having multiple children be beneficial to mom’s health? Fetal Cells Heal Momma for Life.

God tells us in His Word that nothing is neutral,

He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad. (Mt. 12:30)

not even education. Therefore our children’s education, like everything else, will be either for Christ or against Him.

Now that we’re expecting another baby, I’m so wanting to make one (or more) of these rag quilts. If only I had the energy to go purchase some fabric.

What encouraged or inspired you this week?

As a mom of 8, I don’t have the time to go to fabric stores looking for fabric so I shop it online ( like much of what I purchase). Fabricshack.com has a great sale section and very reasonable shipping.

What encouraged me this week was the simple act of reading the Bible ( as part of our Reading thru the Bible in a year plan) and making. Ones in the margins of things I have not realized before! Then… Hearing others talk about the same things I was making note of! Awesome!
Plus, we have finally be able to afford to purchase the Barton system for my ten year old Dyslexic son. The Lord was perfect in His timing:0) so I am encouraged by the burden that has been lifted off our shoulders with the help that has come from Him through getting is program.

I meant to say that I had made notes in the margins…. My iPad is a little touchy at times!

Amen on buying fabric online! I love fabric.com. They have very high quality fabric and free shipping on orders over $35. Go to retailmenot.com and look up a coupon code first…makes for an amazing deal!

Thanks so much, Kimberly! What a fun surprise :)

I’m sorry your first trimester is icky. I’m in the home-stretch now and *this* is the hardest part for me…May the Lord give us grace.

I love the story about babies healing mamas. When I had my twins a year ago, I went into heart failure with something called peripartum cardiomyopathy. I love the idea that my sweet little babies may have helped in my healing. God is so good!

Annie said what I was thinking too. Seriously, I’m amazed at how everything changes when I get in the Word. It does not return void. Just this evening I have been refreshed by reading the day’s Proverbs chapter and a bit in 1 Corinthians. May God continue to be our greatest delight!

Sorry, just saw the announcement post! Love the details:D

I go for tests tomorrow, I’ve always been clockwork, now I’m 10 days off and the home tests all say negative. With a little turning one this week I’m not sure what I am praying for except, of course, for me to be healthy.
