Ultimate Easter Basket {Giveaway}

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Melissa who won the giveaway package from Crayola.

Our family is pretty low-key about Easter celebrations. We generally go to church and then enjoy a big family dinner.

Occasionally we pick up some candy in an after-Easter clearance sale and every once and a while Mark talks me into dyeing Easter eggs sometime in May.

Last year we arranged a very special egg hunt for the children as a fun way to announce the gender of our expected baby.

But this year, when I was contacted about creating an Ultimate Easter Basket chock full of Β Crayola products, how could I refuse?

amber kaitlin alyssa bella kimberly

Kaitlin (12), Me, Amber (13), Bella (4 months), Alyssa (10)

(Our trip to NYC, one of the special reasons we LOVE Crayola!)

Crayola sent us a package full of goodies plus a $25 gift card to Michael’s to get the rest of the supplies needed to create this ultimate {large family} Easter basket.

We filled our basket with a little something for everyone in our family (a big thanks to my kids for picking out and helping make it all look ‘pretty’).

Crayola ultimate easter basket

Thanks to a clearance sale at Michael’s which included cake and candy decorating kits from Wilton and the generous package from Crayola, we stayed within a $25 budget.

    Just “liked” Crayola! We go to their museum in PA every year…kids LOVE the place! As for my “craftiness”: Anything and everything! Cakes, ALL things related to kids crafts, LOTS of hands-on stuff for my child with sensory needs, starting to crochet to continue the legacy of my grandmother and great-grandmother, keepsake frames for friends with newborns, the list is endless. I LOVE art (in all its forms) and I LOVE sharing my passion for it with my blessings πŸ™‚

    I have a home day-care and use so many Crayola products, I can’t pick a favorite. We especially use Crayola around the holidays as I try to have the kids make a craft to coordinate with each season or holiday. They also work great on the whiteboard side of our easel and as I’m not a fan of chalk dust it is a great way for them to draw on it and me not to go crazy! Thanks for the giveaway!

    We love Crayola crayons – they are the best! Also, right now, my daughter feels “too old” for crayons, so she loves colored pencils. My kids also love the sidewalk chalk – we have used the Crayola 3D chalk and it was a hit. From the Crayola website, I think my kids would enjoy the Dual-Sided Dry-Erase Board Set. One other thing, I have utilized the Crayola color sheets for several years. My kids have colored all of the “states” color sheets at our homeschool. The color sheets are a great free resource.

    Hands down the Twistable Color Pencils are my favortie Crayola product. They are long lasting, color beautifully and eliminate the need for sharpening color pencils. They are wonderful for coloring details and I consider these a must have for our homeschool. My second is the Twistable Crayons which are my must have for my younger homeschoolers. The children love them and they don’t break..I know we didn’t need two or three but I couldn’t help myself :). Number three would be Model Magic which is a joy to work with. The finished products are beautfiul and hold up well over time.

    My children have used Crayola products for as long as I can remember. Over the years we have enjoyed scented markers, twistables, olour wonder and colour explosion. This year for Christmas our family favourites were the jewellery boutique – where you form your own beads from clay along with Tinkerbelle stick ‘n play.
    During homeschooling time, my 7 yr. old uses the stick and play lined paper where she prints a daily message to me. We use it for an activity during calendar time and it is a real favourite!!
    Over the years \I have purchased kits for all my 6 nieces and nephews which included colour books, Glow Explosion and craft kits of all varieties.
